Temper Rolled Coil

Temper rolling is a work hardening process that is used to change the crystalline structure and shape of the stainless steel without using heat. Temper rolling increases the yield strength and decreases the ductility. Typical industries that use temper rolled coil are automotive, medical, IT, petrochemical, construction, insulation and spring markets.

Grades

Our temper rolled coil is available in many grades, our most popular being grade 301 (1.4310) Other grades that we commonly supply are grades 316 (1.4401), 316L (1.4404), 304 (1.4301), 304L (1.4307) and 430 (1.4016), although other grades are available to match the customers specification if required.

Finishes

Material can be slit to match customers specific widths and thicknesses and a choice of slit edges or deburred edges is also available.

Our temper rolled coil material can also be offered in coil form or precision cut blanks.

The most common VPN ranges offered are TR230/TR280/TR330/TR380/TR430. Our material is made to order in the VPN/HV range, so alternative ranges can also be provided.

Please see the table below for more information on our temper rolled coil.
