Film coated stainless and aluminium

Commencing March 2016 BS Stainless will offer poly coated coil up to 1000 mm wide in both stainless steel and Aluminium. The new addition gives many additional options to customers who want to process in wide coil from but have no damage to the coil. The new state of the art processing line can poly coat both side simultaneously to prevent having to process twice both speeding up the operation and reducing the risk of damage.

The processing line can accept coils up to 5000 kgs and the finished coils can be up to 3000 kgs in weight as a maximum or small coils as required. There is a wide flexibility on width this will depend on both the material and availability of poly coating. Various types and colours of coatings can be applied including blue and green transparent coating in 30 micron, clear in 50 micron or white and black film in 55 micron. Other films can be supplied on request including Laser guard film.

The coil poly coating compliments other materials and coatings especially for architectural claddings, coil or sheets can be supplied with a painted surface in PVDF or Acrylic, DuPont ™Tedlar® coating including a variety of colours. These can be combined with external moisture barriers or acoustic barriers to reduce sound from rain, traffic or industry with the aesthetics and longevity of stainless or aluminium cladding.

Material can be further processed into flat sheets, cut to size blanks, edge dressed blanks or safe edge coil. If you require further information please contact our sales team sales@bsstainless.com
