Gastech 2014 Review

Gastech 2014 was successful in many ways for BS Stainless, it was the first Gastech in Asia so it was only right that BS Stainless the UK's leading supplier to the Gas insulation industry should be there. With a massive market for gas in South Korea and some of the market leaders in Gas processing and engineering including KOGAS, Samsung, Hyundai, Daewoo, Hanjin, SK Engineering and GS Engineering it was a fantastic opportunity to meet, network and demonstrate our products. Visitors to our stand had travelled from Australia, North America, Middle East,  Singapore, Egypt, Europe and many other regions. One such product was the Bandfix® Ecoseal a wing seal for fixing banding and metal jacketing that was lighter and easier to fix than current offerings. The significant difference was through months of engineering design work and testing a product that was stronger and safer to fix was created.

With pressure on companies to improve their carbon footprint the Bandfix® Ecoseal leads to less storage and transportation, quicker to fix, and with less loading its also safer to use. This was well received by insulation contractor, EPC's and owners.

As well as seeing the latest developments within the Gas industry like FLNG Gastech also gives an opportunity to discuss potential areas for improvement and development, with two products currently being developed we were able to discuss with people who had hands on experience of some of the day to day issues with metal jacketing and corrosion under insulation.

Many customers end EPC's who had experience of using BS Stainless products on their projects were in attendance at Gastech 2014, it was good to have positive feedback on products like stainless steel banding and how well they were performing and planned repeat business. The integrity of our products, availability service and most importantly quality seems to be widely respected amongst visitors to our stand.

Visitors to our stand had travelled from Australia, North America, Middle East, Singapore, Egypt, Europe and many other regions.

The Korean experience for BS Stainless was an extremely positive one. With the next exhibition in Singapore in October 2015 there is more work to be done, by then BS Stainless hope to have more new products to launch.
