Gastech 2018: The Countdown Begins...

Delegates from BS Stainless will once again be attending and exhibiting at the Gastech Conference and Exhibition. The event is the leading international trade fair of its type and serves as a platform for the global gas community to learn, network and showcase new technologies, providing a unique forum for business leaders from all fields of the industry.

We have exhibited at Gastech for many years, showcasing our extensive product range. This year, we will be focusing on our innovative cladding solutions for gas insulation: these solutions include SoundMet, DryMet, CoolMet and TedMet. Along with these materials, we will also be showcasing the many relevant fixings and ancillaries that facilitate professional results.

Regular readers of our blog will remember Candice Bees, an artist who uses our stainless steel wire to create sculptures of animals. Candice was recently commissioned by us to create a life-size wolf using our lacing wire; the wolf came with us to a recent trade fair and will also be joining us at Gastech.

Lacing wire (also known as tying wire) is one of the key products supplied by BS Stainless for insulation fixing; it is used to securely attach a range of materials including mineral wool. The material is extremely strong yet is malleable and easy to form; this makes it ideal for both industrial and artistic applications.
