Holiday closures

Now its approaching Summer time in the UK its also a time with more national holidays. This Monday the 8th of May is "May Day" traditionally the first Monday in May so we will close on Friday 4th of May and Re-open on Tuesday the 8th of May.

Traditionally there is normally a holiday towards the end of May, this year it has been moved into June, the reason for this is the Queens Diamond Jubilee. This year sees the Queens 60th year as Monarch and as a result celebrations are being held across the country. As a bonus the Queen announced an extra days holiday to mark the event, great for staff, but not great for business. This holiday is an optional one for employers but BS Stainless felt it was an important event and all staff should take the day off. So this year there will be two days holiday following the weekend meaning BS Stainless will close on Friday the 1st of June 2012 and re-open on Wednesday the 6th of June.
