SoundMat is a vinyl acoustic barrier loaded with barium sulphate minerals as specified and used in ISO 15665 and can be used as an acoustic pipe wrap to all classes.

It has been designed to have high mass for effective acoustic pipe wrap applications. The product is free of lead, unrefined aromatic oils and bitumen. It has very good resistance to mineral oils, greases, weak acids and alkalies.

SoundMat is designed to improve the sound insulation of pipework and other structures at all frequencies by reducing the transmission of airborne sound. The mat is normally fixed in intimate contact with the original substrate or space layers. Bonded to many differant materials it can also be supplied with self adhesive peel of backing.

Popular uses including music studios, roofing, industrial cladding, pipe warps and ducting. The material is impervious to oils and most chemicals and easy to wipe clean.
