Stainless steel surcharges set to increase
Stainless steel surcharges are to be increased for October delivery following continued growth in the Nickel price on the LME.
Following summer shutdowns there is stronger growth forecasts for Q4 and into 2011.Nickel prices are have averaged around 22,000 USD per tonne over the last month and with expected continued demand for Nickel the LME price is expected to remain strong and possibly result in an increase of surcharge levels for November.
The key grades are listed below:-
1.4301 (304) £1411 per tonne
1.4404 (316) £2235 per tonne
1.4016 (430) £400 per tonne
