Design
Standard wing seals are manufactured from stainless steel coil in the UK. Most common widths are ½” (13mm) and ¾” (19mm)
Other sizes available ⅝” (16mm), 1” (25mm), 1½” (40mm) and 2” (50mm)
Once the banding is thread through the seals and tightened with a tensioning tool, the wings are flattened either by hammer type tool. We offer 2 designs the traditional one manufactured from 0.8mm (0.031") or the Bandfix® Ecoseal with its unique patented design its 20% stronger but lighter due to its use of 0.7mm (0.027"), the improves the overall performace while reducing the amount of energy to manufacture and distribute and speed up application.
Bandfix® and BS Thermal™ are brands of BS Stainless Ltd
